About our service

Who does DAYLi Physiotherapy work with?

We provide physiotherapy for babies, children and young people aged 0–18 with developmental and neurological needs.

Where do the sessions take place?

All sessions are home visits. There's no travelling or waiting lists: therapy is brought right to your doorstep, in the comfort of your own home.

Which areas of Kent do you cover?

We visit families in their homes across Kent. Carys is based in ME10 (Sittingbourne) and Gaby is based in CT2 (Canterbury). Get in touch to check we cover your area.

What conditions do you support?

We support children with:

  • Developmental delay
  • Genetic conditions
  • Brain and spinal injuries
  • Neurological conditions
  • Pre-term babies
  • Post-fracture and surgery rehab

This list is not exhaustive. Please enquire about other conditions if they are not mentioned.

What is your approach to therapy?

Our therapy is play-based: sessions are built around games, toys and challenges, so children stay motivated and progress feels like fun. It's family-centred, because you know your child best, so we set goals together and give you the confidence to help between sessions. And it's evidence-based, following current clinical research and best practice in paediatric physiotherapy.

Do you work with other professionals involved in my child's care?

Yes. We work closely with parents, carers and other professionals involved in your child's care, so everyone is working towards the same goals.

Getting started

How do I get started?

It takes four steps:

  • Send an enquiry: tell us a little about your child using our enquiry form.
  • We call you back: a physiotherapist talks through your concerns and answers your questions.
  • Initial assessment: a 60-minute, play-based assessment in your home.
  • Your plan: goals agreed together, with sessions and home activities that fit your week.

What happens at the initial assessment?

It's a comprehensive assessment to understand your child's movement, development and individual needs, carried out in the comfort of your own home. It includes:

  • Discussion of your concerns and your child's history
  • Assessment of movement, strength, balance and physical skills
  • Identification of strengths, difficulties and individual goals
  • Personalised recommendations and a plan for next steps

What does ongoing treatment involve?

Bespoke physiotherapy tailored to your child's goals, helping them develop skills, build confidence and take part more fully in everyday life. It includes:

  • Play-based activities to develop movement and physical skills
  • Targeted exercises and personalised home programmes
  • Support with mobility, balance, strength and coordination
  • Advice for families, with progress reviews and goals adapted as your child develops

How many sessions will my child need?

Every child is different. We'll recommend the type and frequency of support that's right for your child following their initial assessment.

Is there anything I should tell you before the first visit?

If your child is under the care of a consultant or other therapists, please mention it in your message.

When are you available?

Our opening hours are Monday to Friday, 16:30 to 19:00, and Saturday to Sunday, 9:00 to 16:00.

How can I contact you?

You can send an enquiry through our website, call or WhatsApp us on 07356 006822, or email enquiries@dayliphysiotherapy.com.

About us

Who are the physiotherapists?

Carys qualified in 2020 and has specialised in paediatrics since 2022. Gaby has around three years of experience specialising in paediatrics. Both have a particular interest in developmental delay, cerebral palsy and neuromuscular conditions.

Are your physiotherapists qualified and registered?

Yes. Our physiotherapists are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP), and hold enhanced DBS checks.

What does the name DAYLi mean?

Our name joins our two surnames, Carys Day and Gaby Licence. It also reflects what we do: therapy that fits into your child's every day.
